ONsen Hot Pools

This may not be in all of the travel guides and itineraries you'll see but there is something said for relaxing and getting a good shot at the same time. The onsen hot pools outside of Queenstown are absolutely as good as they look.

Champagne Pool at Wai-o-tapu

Nestled in the forrest is the geothermal wonderland Wai-O-Tapu with an assortment of thermal pools in varying shades and colors. You can walk the whole park in as little as 45 minutes but can spend much more time at a slower pace wondering around. This is the most famous of the hot pools there.

Lupins at Lake WanakA

Lupins are all the rage on Instagram and it's their bright pinks and purples set against the crystal blue lake Wanaka that makes this picture such a standout on social media.

New Zealand Countryside

You can't go to New Zealand and not get an iconic picture of sheep grazing on hillsides. There isn't one place for this - in reality many of the rolling hills you'll see will look the same as the next - so pull over to the side of the road whenever you can to get this shot of classic New Zealand.

Queenstown is one of the most popular places to visit in New Zealand and is known for it's dramatic scenery. The trip wouldn't be complete without getting these views from the top of Skyline Queenstown.

Auckland Skyline

Auckland's most recognizable building is the Sky tower - a needle shaped building that stands the highest in the city. To get views of the skyline from the water, hop on the ferry to Waiheke Island (and enjoy spending the day there!)
